We are glad you chose to visit our website and learn more about our Town, located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  We are conveniently located on Interstate 26, about 30 minutes from Asheville and 90 minutes from Charlotte.  We would love to have you visit and explore our beautiful downtown, unique House of Flags Museum, and many other attractions located in the heart of Polk County. Columbus is the county seat for Polk County, North Carolina.
